Domains of Time
Where brandy rests and matures
The Origins
In 1820, Juan Antonio Peinado established his distillery in Tomelloso, in the heart of La Mancha. The region, known for its vineyards and winemaking tradition, offered the perfect conditions for creating spirits and brandies of exceptional quality.
"Time is the greatest master distiller. We are merely its humble apprentices."
— Juan Antonio Peinado, Founder
The Recognition
Until 1972, our brandy was recognized and marketed as Cognac, a testament to its quality comparable to the finest French spirits. With the regulation of designations of origin, we became ambassadors of Spanish Brandy.
La Mancha
Tomelloso and its unique terroir provide us with the perfect raw material. The continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters, along with the chalky soil, produces grapes of intense character that transform into brandies of unmistakable personality.
